Restoring the GWR 7200 class prototype steam locomotive

Bunker and Side-tanks Return

On 5 October 2011, the bunker and side-tanks returned from Auto-vent, and were successfully reunited with the frames. 7200 now looks less like a skateboard, and more like a steam locomotive.

The following pictures tell the story of a significant day in the restoration of 7200 to full working order.
