Any Other Business
The Hon Secretary read a statement from the Chairman, informing the members that the Sales Team had just reached
the superb figure of £10,000 since they had commenced. They were congratulated by the President and members
on this achievement.
The Hon Secretary stated that under the Audit Exemption (Amendment) regulations 2004, the
Trust Accounts could be subject to an "Independent Examiner" rather than an "Auditor"; this was agreed subject
to the Trust being a suitable "business" in this respect. A raffle was held which raised £60 for the
locomotive funds. The locomotive number plates and name plates were on display and looked superb
with the traditional Great Western brass lettering and edging.
The meeting was then closed, with a vote of thanks for the President. The members went to the Restoration Building
to view the locomotive and the work done.
EWJ Miller - Hon. Sec.
